Living by the Coast... Karen can assist you with all your real estate needs whether you are buying or selling in Wilmington, the surrounding beaches, Brunswick and Pender counties. Karen is a REALTOR and a Broker specializing in family and corporate relocation, first time home buyers, and retirees or clients that have new real estate needs. Besides helping buyers, Karen has been very successful at marketing properties for her sellers. She has listed various types of properties ranging from homes to land and even boat slips.

Growing up in a military family, Karen never lived in an area for more than a few years. From the east to the west coast, from the deep south to the north and overseas, you name it and Karen has been there. She enjoys helping clients who are relocating to the area because she understands what they and their family are going through and what will be important to them when they arrive.

After graduating from Michigan State University (go Spartans!), Karen moved to Northern Virginia to start her retail jewelry career. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Wilmington where she continued in that profession. After 21 years in the fine jewelry industry she began her career in real estate where she continues her focus on superior customer service and 100% customer satisfaction.

Karen has always promoted the greater Wilmington area whether with her family, friends or people that she meets along the way. Karen decided to use her vast knowledge of Wilmington and the surrounding beaches to promote the area and real estate to potential clients thus starting her real estate career. Helping her clients make the best decisions for their real estate needs is Karen's goal. She finds working together on a real estate transaction with clients has resulted in many friendships. That, combined with a smooth and an enjoyable home buying/selling experience, is her greatest satisfaction.

Dedicated to her profession Karen continues to enhance her effectiveness in seeking educational opportunities. She completed her Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Designation and is currently working on her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation. She has taken courses that benefit many of her clients including a 1031 Tax Free Exchange Seminar, a New Home Sales program and an in depth Wealth & Investment course. In addition, Karen keeps up-to-date with the latest technology. This enables her to expand her customer service skills with clients. If you want instant information, she has it!

Karen met her husband, Tracy, at the Azalea Festival in Historic Downtown Wilmington. Tracy owns a landscaping business, is a Wilmington native and is quite helpful in Karen's real estate business. They live in Brunswick Forest with their cats Lili and Muffin plus their cute little Pomeranian, Baci. In their free time you will find them bike riding, walking, roller blading, at the pool or the beach and getting together with friends. They also enjoy traveling and taking great vacations.
